Dreaming & Creating
taught by Anne Putnam
Exploring our dream material can provide a bounty of inspiration for our creative practices. Using an easy step-by-step process for gleaning relevant information from our nighttime excursions, we will make the journey from inspiration to creative experience using dreams as our source. Once you learn this process, it can be used over and over to create pieces of art or craft that further explore your creative yearnings. The class is open to all forms of creative expression including visual art, song, movement, poetry, creative fiction, and playwriting.
This class is open to anyone of any creative skill and will teach you not only how to work with dream material creatively, it is also serves as a source for resilient problem solving. The technique you’ll learn will improve dream recall and will assist anyone who is curious about their dreams and also wants to discover more options to any kind of obstacle, whether it has to do with an artistic medium or life in-general. For novice and seasoned folks alike.
