Looking for an easy, playful, colorful, experimental, organic (and almost magic-like) art process? Why not try Paper Marbling?? In this popular ancient art form, pigment is floated on top of a water / cellulose mix, and then printed onto paper surfaces. And although these truly one-of-a-kind, gorgeous works of art can stand on their own, marbled paper can also be incorporated into mixed media painting, drawing, collage, book arts projects, and much, much more.
This class is wonderful for beginners, as Lesley will provide all supplies and lead students through the process from start to finish. Participants already familiar with marbling can enjoy using the pre-prepared inks and supplies to “stock up” on hand-designed papers for future projects, as well as spend time learning some advanced techniques.
