Would you like to learn how to transfer images into your Mixed Media works of art? Have you tried it before but not yet mastered integrating it into your paintings? This is your chance to learn or improve your transfer skills! Using laser jet copies of old photographs, magazine images, previous artwork and more, Lisa Binder will demo a quick and easy technique to add something personal and special to your Mixed Media works of art. If you are taking Lisa's Open Heart Art class over the weekend and want a three-day deep dive, join this workshop on Friday and jumpstart your weekend by opening your heart space working with copies of images meaningful to you. Think of all the wonderful art gifts you could make with personalized images of grandchildren photos, ancestry photos, landscape photos you have taken on vacations and more. The options are endless, and it’s a lot of fun. A great tool to add to your art tool box! All skill levels welcome. Participants should bring a sack lunch and water bottle, journal or notebook, and wear clothes for movement and mess-making. Materials needed: Materials that teacher will provide, for which reimbursement is needed: contact paper, Golden soft gel medium (semi-gloss), to be reimbursed at $10 per student. Wood panels/canvas board to be reimbursed at cost price if using one of Lisa's Materials Students will be required to gather/bring matte clear contact paper, soft gel medium, soft gel medium semi gloss, cradle board – wood panel, acrylic paint and collage papers. MOST IMPORTANT: If participants want to use personal images, they need to bring laser jet photocopies of those images.
