Service Description

“The precise study of a piece of drapery makes all other forms more clear.” – Kimon Nicolaides Drawing the drape of fabric can be fun, but it can also be challenging. In this class, we’ll explore a way of looking at drapes and folds that can help us notice what we see, take on the challenge, and turn it into fun. Within our nonjudgmental environment, we’ll warm up by reviewing the basics of line and shading. Then we’ll move into noticing and drawing the drape of clothing or fabric in a still life. Whether you’re a beginner at drawing or simply want a refresher, you’ll find inspiration, artistic options, and time to practice your own artistic style.
