“I think your whole life shows in your face and you should be proud of that.” – Lauren Bacall Faces are fascinating landscapes, and while each is unique, they generally have similar proportions. In this class, we’ll consider those common proportions as guides to drawing faces, but we’ll also look for the gestures of individual features. What gives a face expression? How simple and minimal can you get and still draw a face? How detailed can you go? Whether you’re a beginner at drawing or simply want a refresher, in our nonjudgmental environment, you’ll find inspiration, artistic options, and time to practice your own studies of fascinating faces. Skill Level: none Pre-requisites: none The studio will provide: Pencils Charcoal Drawing paper Erasers Students should bring: 9”x12” sketch pad Sharpened drawing pencils in varying degrees of hardness (in the 4B to 2H range) A kneaded eraser A sack lunch *** Fee: $110 (Members 15% discount with coupon code at checkout) If the class is full but you would like to be added to the waitlist, please email registration@artandsoulnashville.com. Cancelation Policy

Cancelation policy: you may request a refund (minus any PayPal fees and a $10 cancelation fee) up to seven (7) days prior to the scheduled date of the class or workshop. No refund is available after that date. Refunds are also unavailable if you do not show up or if you leave an event early for any reason.
