“I think your whole life shows in your face and you should be proud of that.” – Lauren Bacall Faces are fascinating landscapes, and while each is unique, they generally have similar proportions. In this class, we’ll consider those common proportions as guides to drawing faces, but we’ll also look for the gestures of individual features. What gives a face expression? How simple and minimal can you get and still draw a face? How detailed can you go? Whether you’re a beginner at drawing or simply want a refresher, in our nonjudgmental environment, you’ll find inspiration, artistic options, and time to practice your own studies of fascinating faces.
