Service Description

“Hands are extremely expressive and can convey a great deal about the character and mood of the person you are drawing.” – artist and teacher Stan Smith Hands, feet, noses, eyes, and mouths are some of the most expressive parts of the human body, but drawing them can be challenging. Some people dread drawing these features or avoid them altogether. In this class, we’ll discover some tips to make drawing “the hard parts” easier, and we’ll practice by creating studies of each feature. This practice is valuable for those who want to draw realistically as well as those who want to create abstract figures. Whether you’re a beginner at drawing or simply want a refresher, in our nonjudgmental environment, you’ll find inspiration, artistic options, and time to practice your own studies of hands, feet, and faces.
