“Treat nature in terms of the cylinder, the sphere, the cone.” -Paul Cézanne Shapes have movement. They can bulge, point, twist, stand steady, or tumble. They can dance or tiptoe across paper. They hide within still life and figure drawing. Whether you’re a beginner at drawing or simply want a refresher, in this class, you’ll find inspiration, artistic options, and time to practice the challenge of creating three dimensional shapes on a flat surface. In a nonjudgmental environment, you’ll explore the shapely structure in simple still life objects and get a feel for creating volume and texture using hard and soft pencils and the “tooth” of paper. Join us as we find surprises and satisfaction in drawing shapes. Cancellation Policy

Cancelation policy: you may request a refund (minus any PayPal fees and a $10 cancelation fee) up to seven (7) days prior to the scheduled date of the class or workshop. No refund is available after that date. Refunds are also unavailable if you do not show up or if you leave an event early for any reason.
