“Be like water.” ~ Bruce Lee Dive into the fun of painting with watercolor! Explore the possibilities of fluid paint and expressive color within a supportive and encouraging circle. Enjoy weekly demonstrations as you learn easy techniques to create intriguing textures and atmospheric effects with teaching artist Elizabeth Sanford as your guide. Deepen your knowledge of color mixing, and experiment with special tools to create unusual effects. Add unique details to your paintings with ink, pencil, or other media. Discover ways to find intuitive balance between control and spontaneity. Be inspired by the luminous magic of liquid color on paper as you develop a personal approach to watercolor painting. All levels are welcome, including beginners! NOTE: During the first class, we’ll discuss the suggested supply list while actively experimenting with a variety of furnished materials. Supplies needed will vary depending on each student’s interests with options to fit a variety of budgets. Students may wish to bring a water bottle and snacks and to wear clothes for mess-making.
