Imagine trays full of vibrant colors, plush brushes, big paper and the energy of a group ready to venture into painting as naturally as children do. Imagine the surprise when painting becomes a direct response from intuitive impulses beneath either thinking or emotion. What will show up? What energy will be released? Michell Cassou named it “The Painting Experience.” (See her book in our library or look online for videos.) This is a practice not intended for anything other than to contact the energy deep within each of us. Come and paint! Skill Level: any skill level Pre-requisites: none Materials that teacher will provide: heavy weight paper, Isabey watercolor brushes Participants should bring a sack lunch and water bottle, journal or notebook, and wear clothes for movement and mess-making. *** Fee: $100 (Members 15% discount with coupon code at checkout) Art & Soul classes are for ages 17 and up. If you would like to request an exception, please contact the studio to see if the teacher can make accommodations for younger participants.
