Service Description

Imagine making your own beautiful journal from every kind of recycled paper you have on hand. In this one day workshop, you’ll make a one-of-a–kind, small hand-bound book from a variety of recycled materials. Transform vintage magazines, maps, old photos, scraps of fabric, and more into a mixed media artist’s book that you’re sure to treasure. Your beautiful book will include envelopes and secret compartments to hold special mementos. Skill Level: any skill level Pre-requisites: none Materials that the facilitator will provide: paper, thread, fabric, interfacing, collage materials, glue, tape, paper folding tools Materials students will be required to gather/bring for themselves: scissors, #11 xacto knife and extra blades, paper ephemera (optional), self-healing cutting mat *** Fee: $165 (Members 15% discount with coupon code at checkout) If the class is full but you would like to be added to the waitlist, please email Masks are not required in the studio, but please feel free to wear one.
