Ever stop to admire a work of art because you can see a story behind it? In this new Lisa Binder workshop, you will learn how to add interest to your own artwork by telling a visual story in a vertical format through collage and mixed media layers. Exercises intended to spark inspiration in layers will lead to the use of paint, found papers, magazines, images, symbols, and more to develop creative segments on a long vertical canvas or wood panel. So whether your vertical story is a personal life cycle story, a one-hour event, your love of a particular book, or even a story inspired by the lyrics of a county music song, this workshop is designed to explore the wonder of storytelling in vertical visual art form.   Skill Level: any skill level Pre-requisites: none Materials that teacher will provide: Materials are included in the price except for vertical canvas or canvas board which can be purchased from Lisa or brought by participant. Materials Students will be required to gather/bring for themselves: vertical canvas or canvas board (unless purchasing from Lisa), a notebook or journal, a sack lunch and snacks. Cancellation Policy

Cancelation policy: you may request a refund (minus any PayPal fees and a $10 cancelation fee) up to seven (7) days prior to the scheduled date of the class or workshop. No refund is available after that date. Refunds are also unavailable if you do not show up or if you leave an event early for any reason.
