With tips from Mary Oliver’s A Poetry Handbook, we’ll explore being spare and expressive in our own writing, both poetry and prose. Whether you’re a seasoned writer or are just jumping in, join published writer and trained writing coach Karyn Henley as she gently leads the way through non-judgmental, fun and freeing writing prompts, tips, and exercises that will nudge you to explore your voice on the page. You can keep what you write private or share it in supportive community. Either way, our free, open practice of playing with words and thoughts can help you discover, nurture, and honor your writing voice. Skill Level: none Pre-requisites: none The studio will provide notebooks and pens.
