About the Event
“Writing is the painting of the voice.”
– Voltaire
Please join hosts Kelly Falzone and Sonia Le Blanc as we fill the studio with Poems, Stories, & Songs! Writers of all levels of experience welcome. Listeners too!
Those interested in sharing the mic should contact Kelly at kellyfalzone@bellsouth.net starting January 27 (with "Open Mic" in subject line) to get on the list.
April's guest writer, rescheduled from February, is Kent Agee, a fourth-generation musician who first gained recognition as lead singer of the band Jane His Wife. His long-respected songwriting has earned him cuts across genres including those for country artist Rodney Adkins, Cinderella's Tom Keifer, and the legendary Barbra Streisand. More about Kent can be found at www.kentagee.com.
Doors open at 6:45; Show starts at 7:00 pm.
$5 suggested donation, digitally or at the door, to support the ongoing Poetry Night programing. Light snacks & beverages provided. (This is an alcohol-free event.)
