Discover the possibilities of painting abstractly with watercolors! Let your intuition be your guide as you experiment with expressive colors, shapes, and textures and activate your imagination by exploring fun ways to abstract natural patterns and shapes. You’ll be inspired by the luminous magic of liquid color on paper as you develop a personal approach to abstraction within a supportive and encouraging circle. Participants should bring a sack lunch and water bottle, journal or notebook, and wear clothes for mess-making. Skill Level: Knowledge of basic watercolor techniques is recommended. Materials participants should gather/bring for themselves: watercolor paint and assorted brushes. Optional: Micron and/or other archival ink pens, watercolor and/or colored pencils *** Fee: $85 (Members 15% discount with coupon code at checkout) If the class is full but you would like to be added to the waitlist, please email registration@artandsoulnashville.com. Art & Soul classes are for ages 17 and up. If you would like to request an exception, please contact the studio to see if the teacher can make accommodations for younger participants. Masks are not required in the studio, but please feel free to wear one. If you are vulnerable, let us know so we can provide a safe, masked space for you.
