“Shadow is a beautiful, inverse confirmation of our incarnation.” – David Whyte Celebrating Your Goddess Shadow is an immersive outdoor workshop created exclusively for women, combining embodiment practices with the transformative, sun-driven process of cyanotype printing. Guided by artists Robin Wolfenden and Amanda Cantrell Roche, participants will explore how light, shadow, body, and chemistry come together to create powerful, life-size images that honor presence, depth, and self-recognition. Through intuitive movement, guided journaling, and shared reflection, participants will attune to their bodies and to the natural environment—sun, ground, and air becoming active collaborators in the art making process. Shadow is explored not as something to hide, but as a creative partner: a truthful outline of where the body meets the world. The experience culminates in the creation of a life-size cyanotype portrait created by the physical shadow of the body. With the care, encouragement, and assistance of other women in the group, each participant will pose, expose, and develop her image—washing the print in water and witnessing the transformation from pale green to deep Prussian blue. The result is a striking, full-body silhouette that honors divine embodiment ~ be that expressing strength, compassion, or any individual personal affirmation.
