“Hands are extremely expressive and can convey a great deal about the character and mood of the person you are drawing.” – artist and teacher Stan Smith Hands, feet, noses, eyes, and mouths are some of the most expressive parts of the human body, but drawing them can be challenging. Some people dread drawing these features or avoid them altogether. In this class, we’ll discover some tips to make drawing “the hard parts” easier, and we’ll practice by creating studies of each feature. This practice is valuable for those who want to draw realistically as well as those who want to create abstract figures. Whether you’re a beginner at drawing or simply want a refresher, in our nonjudgmental environment, you’ll find inspiration, artistic options, and time to practice your own studies of hands, feet, and faces. Skill Level: none Pre-requisites: none The studio will provide: Pencils Charcoal Drawing paper Erasers Students should bring: 9”x12” sketch pad Sharpened drawing pencils in varying degrees of hardness (in the 4B to 2H range) A kneaded eraser A sack lunch *** Fee: $100 (Members 15% discount with coupon code at checkout) If the class is full but you would like to be added to the waitlist, please email registration@artandsoulnashville.com. Cancellation Policy

Cancelation policy: you may request a refund (minus any PayPal fees and a $10 cancelation fee) up to seven (7) days prior to the scheduled date of the class or workshop. No refund is available after that date. Refunds are also unavailable if you do not show up or if you leave an event early for any reason.
