Service Description

Onion skins, berries, and leaves make amazing dyes, all eco-friendly. Through a multistep process, you will learn how to use plant materials to create designs on paper and fabric. You’ll learn techniques that include the use of mordants and various types of materials that work well with eco-dyes as you work with these natural materials to create organic designs on paper and fabric. Skill Level: beginner Pre-requisites: curiosity and flexibility for working with an organic, sometimes unpredictable process Materials Students will be required to gather/bring for themselves: onion leaves, tree leaves, and other plant materials. A complete list will be provided to students on first day of class *** Fee: $245 (Members 15% discount with coupon code at checkout) If the class is full but you would like to be added to the waitlist, please email registration@artandsoulnashville.com.
