Jump into the joy of journaling this year by taking inspiration from the writings of poet laureate Ted Kooser and other creatives. Write about Winter—long nights, short days, the slant of light, the scent of soup and smoke, the crackle of brittle leaves underfoot, and go wherever your Winter heart takes you. Whether you’re a seasoned writer or are just jumping in, join published writer and trained writing coach Karyn Henley as she gently leads the way through non-judgmental, fun and freeing writing prompts, tips, and exercises that will nudge you to explore journaling. You can keep what you write private or share it in supportive community. Either way, our free, open practice of playing with words and thoughts can help you discover, or rediscover, the joy of journaling through all the year’s seasons and moods. Art & Soul classes are for ages 17 and up. If you would like to request an exception, please contact the studio to see if the teacher can make accommodations for younger participants.
