Come play with fluid paint and expressive color within a supportive and encouraging circle. Learn easy techniques to create intriguing textures and atmospheric effects. Begin with a brief tour of paint, paper, and brush options before exploring the 3 main types of color mixing with Teaching Artist Elizabeth Sanford as your guide. Experiment with special tools to create unusual effects, and personalize your paintings with unique details in ink or pencil. Discover ways to find intuitive balance between control and spontaneity. Be inspired by the luminous magic of liquid color on paper as you develop a personal approach to watercolor painting. All levels are welcome, including beginners! Participants should bring a sack lunch and water bottle, journal or notebook, and wear clothes for mess-making. Cancellation Policy

Cancelation policy: you may request a refund (minus any PayPal fees and a $10 cancelation fee) up to seven (7) days prior to the scheduled date of the class or workshop. No refund is available after that date. Refunds are also unavailable if you do not show up or if you leave an event early for any reason.
