Find inspiration in the lilting rhythms of Maya Angelou and the lyrical echoes and mirrors of Amanda Gorman’s writing. Through their work, they will become our muses as we follow their creative flow to discover and explore our own. Whether you’re a seasoned writer or are just jumping in, join published writer and trained writing coach Karyn Henley as she gently leads the way through non-judgmental, fun and freeing writing prompts, tips, and exercises that will encourage you to honor the dance of your own voice on the page. You can keep what you write private or share it in a supportive community. Either way, our free, open practice of playing with words and thoughts can help you discover, nurture, and honor the cadence of your heart. Art & Soul classes are for ages 17 and up. If you would like to request an exception, please contact the studio to see if the teacher can make accommodations for younger participants.
