Inspired by the words of David Whyte, Padraig O’Tuama, and others, we will explore finding meaning in deep simplicity, capturing moments of time, and having a conversation with life in our writing. Following their creative flow, we’ll be primed to discover and experience our own. Whether you’re a seasoned writer or are just jumping in, published writer and trained writing coach Karyn Henley will make you feel welcome as she gently leads the way through non-judgmental, fun and freeing writing prompts, tips, and exercises that will encourage you to listen to your heart and converse with your own life on the page. You can keep what you write private or share it in supportive community. Either way, our free, open practice of playing with words and thoughts can help you discover, nurture, and honor your life. Art & Soul classes are for ages 17 and up. If you would like to request an exception, please contact the studio to see if the teacher can make accommodations for younger participants.
