Community Connections

Our Friends of Art & Soul successfully supported a Giving Tuesday 2024 campaign to develop our class scholarship program, which launched earlier this year.

Students have begun to receive scholarships and attend classes, allowing them to experience the applied art practices that lead to authentic art making. Art & Soul is grounded in four core practices: Play, Intuitive Artmaking, Authentic Movement, and Sounding. In addition to our scholarship program, Art & Soul has collaborated with Potentia360 in providing their leadership ambassadors with Art & Soul experiences.

Potentia is a 501(c)3 nonprofit founded on the belief that the future of leadership and innovation must include the diverse voices of underrepresented groups to ensure a more just, fair, equitable, and thriving world. We believe that by empowering young women with an education in emerging technologies and leadership, we can shape a future where their diverse voices drive positive change, break barriers, and redefine what's possible in a technology-driven world.

Art & Soul members also donated art to Strobel House, Nashville's first Permanent Supportive Housing facility. Art can make a house feel like home, increasing the likelihood of success for residents.
